About the Opportunity: Southern Cross Hospitality is about to embark on a significant period of growth with a number of new venues opening in the next 6-12 months and to facilitate this we are on the look-out for Executive Chefs / Head Chefs / Kitchen Managers / Sous Chefs to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Culinary, the Executive Chef will lead a talented team and ensure the kitchen operates to optimum efficiency. The Ideal Candidate: Demonstrated experience as either a Executive Chef, Executive Sous or Head Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment Extensive culinary knowledge and experience Track record of leading teams that deliver outcomes Ability to manage staff performance, including unsatisfactory performance Display exemplary leadership and passion for global cuisine trends Understanding of financial budgets, food and labour costs Experience in managing and maintaining food safety program including documentation Rostering and ordering experience Monitor and supervise OSHA standards and procedure Ability to build and maintain effective relationships Outstanding time management Calm and composed demeanour Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Working with Southern Cross Hospitality: People are at the core of our success and our culture goes beyond our workplace.
